Nonprofit Partners

From 2011 - 2024, The Primerica Foundation granted more than $17 million to nonprofit organizations serving low to moderate income populations in the state of Georgia. Over $1 million was granted to national nonprofits and nonprofits in other states.

Grant Giving

Grants are sourced by research and collaboration with community partners. Primerica corporate employees provide input into grant recommendations through the annual Employee Choice Vote. All grant recipients must be legally vetted and in compliance with Primerica charitable policies.

Education and Youth Enrichment

The Hope Legacy Leaders Program mentors high school students in leadership and promotes high school graduation for Hispanic students. The program includes an after-school program providing opportunities to learn about effective communications, teamwork, financial literacy, civic engagement, time management, conflict resolution, and goal setting.

The Primerica Foundation supports Junior Achievement of Georgia by providing grant funding to JA Finance Park in Gwinnett County and 3DE by Junior Achievement.

Primerica has a storefront in a miniature version of the Gwinnett business community called Finance Park. Eighth grade students in the Gwinnett County Public School System can experience Finance Park through a daylong interactive real-life simulation in personal financial literacy.

3DE by Junior Achievement re-engineers high school education to prepare today's students for the demands of tomorrow's economy. The Primerica Foundation is a founding partner of 3DE and state sponsor for this cutting-edge, immersive educational program.

Primerica Grant Funding from The Primerica Foundation provides field trips for public school children throughout Georgia.

Financial Literacy and Self-Sufficiency

"Those who City of Refuge serves face financial and access barriers to job training as well as a lack of opportunities to connect with employers. Funding from The Primerica Foundation supported vocational training and workforce development services, including job fairs, needed for low-income, undertrained individuals to find employment with the ability to earn a living wage." Edward Phillips, Development Director, City of Refuge.

Community and Culture

Funding from The Primerica Foundation supported the Aurora Theatre’s arts education program and discounted ticket options to Title I school partners. Aurora artistic programs include artists of color and stories of African American and Latinx people(s). With over 100 languages spoken in Gwinnett County Public Schools, Aurora’s diversity of cast and programming reflects the local diverse community onstage.

As many as 300,000 people have internet access for research, job searches, online tutoring and much more due to giving by The Primerica Foundation for investments in technology and programs offered by the Gwinnett County Library System.
